Need Content Inspiration? Start Here.

Content creation is often the hardest piece of the marketing puzzle. I work with my clients to find areas of focus for their social media, blogs, and email campaigns, but after that… they are stuck. It feels so overwhelming to think of unique content. And honestly I’ve been there!

Here’s my advice to anyone hitting a content block:

“Start with what you already have.”

Yep, you already have content for your next blog or social media post!

PREVIOUS SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

We all know the saying: "If it's not broke, don't fix it." If you have shared content that resonated well with your audience, share it again! Scroll back a few months or a few years, and repurpose content that can be applicable to your followers today.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Think about a moment from your childhood that has stuck with you throughout adulthood. Those memories often come with lesson learned or anecdotes that prove how much you have learned and how far you have come. This can serve an excellent prompt to connect with your followers.

CONVERSATIONS THROUGHOUT THE DAY

The average person has 27 conversations lasting about 10 minutes each! A conversation with your co-worker, spouse, friend, or toddler could spark a great post that could empower, educate, and entertain your audience!

JOURNAL ENTRIES

Whether you keep a daily journal or just occasionally joy down ideas and thoughts in a notebook, chances are you have written content that could inspire your next blog or post! Some of my favorite social media posts have come from me sitting and reading through a journal from a decade ago.

Whether we realize it or not, we are always creating content. If you’re an author, teacher, blogger, writer, photographer, or coach, you are a content creator.

Don’t overthink it. Start recording. Start writing. Start posting!

I can't wait to see what you share today!
