Hey Content Creator!

Content creation is often the hardest piece of the marketing puzzle for my clients. We work to find their areas of focus for their social media, blog, and email campaigns, but after that… they are stuck. It feels so overwhelming to think of unique content. And honestly I’ve been there!

My advice

Here’s my advice to anyone hitting a content block… start with what you already have. Do you have a journal, old social media posts, a letter you’ve written to a friend, or an anecdote from your childhood or early on in your career? Use that content to inspire your next blog, social media post or email blast.

Think about your day

Take a moment to think about your day. Did you have lunch with a friend? A deep discussion with a co-worker? Did you and your partner make each other laugh? There’s your content! Some of my favorite social media posts have come from me sitting and reading through a journal from a decade ago or talking to a friend and reminiscing on a college memory.

We are always creating content

Whether we realize it or not, we are always creating content. If you’re an author, teacher, blogger, writer, photographer, or coach, you are a content creator.

Don’t overthink it

Start recording. Start writing. Start posting.
